The International Association of Democratic Lawyers is deeply concerned about the threats against Iran by Israel , the United States, and the United Kingdom.

IADL calls to develop the international Campaign to support the Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange and to mark August 10 as agent orange day with activities in every country.

The IADL expresses its solidarity with the Japanese people who have suffered and continue to suffer from one of the worst nuclear disasters as a result of the recent earthquakes and tsunami in the northern part of Japan.

The IADL supports all the Haitian organizations reunited within the Mobilization Collective for the compensation of cholera victims, requesting and demanding the immediate and unconditional departure of MINUSTAH from Haitian territory.

IADL submitted a resolution to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon arguing that the use of a veto to oppose the admission of Palestine would be in opposition to the principles of the Charter, and therefore illegal.

The International Association of Democratic Lawyers issued the following statement regarding the Security Council Resolution 1973 in Libya and military actions by the United States, France and the United Kingdom's imposition of a no-fly zone:

The International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL) and the European Association of Lawyers for Democracy and World Human Rights (ELDH) unreservedly condemn the brutal repression of democratic mass demonstrations in Libya.
